What’s the difference in a Folder and a Project?

Great question! From your Cage account, you can create as many Folders or Projects as you like. We recommend using folders for housing a collection of smaller projects. For example, if you’re using Cage at work, you might create a folder named “Marketing 2017” or if you’re working with clients, “Client XYZ” which would house all the different projects you’re working on within that folder.

Use a Project for anything you’re working on that has actionable items and artifacts. Projects are a collection of files, messages, tasks, and presentations all related to that specific project. For example, if you’re using Cage at work, you might have a Marketing Project (in the Marketing 2020 folder), and in there you might have all the materials you’re working on with you Team - Files, Messages, Tasks, and more!
